This collection consists of four instruments of the standard saxophone quartet: soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones. You do not need any pre-recorded Giga libraries, because SWAM Saxophones is not a record of notes through sample libraries, but a set of real virtual instruments based on traditional saxophones.
SWAM saxophones developed with the help of sound simulation technology are the result of a combination of innovative work methods and concepts of physical and behavioral modeling using the multi-vector / phase-synchronous sampling method. This collection is the most realistic, real-time controlled, expressive set of virtual saxophones on the market and requires only a minimal space to create an ideal organic consistency as a result of endless expressive parameters that are unique to every live performance.
As a producer, composer or live performer, you can use SWAM saxophones to play any musical style: from classical to jazz, from Pop to Funky and any other musical style. Simply draw them in the section without artifacts and select a different timbre for each instance.

Mar 27, 2014 The University of Iowa Alto and Soprano Saxes sound the best. They are quite warm and blend well. The Club Saxes are from samples by Clruwe at Freesound.org. They are more free form and fun, but have their own definition of that pesky phrase 'in tune'. Check out the Tenor Sax for many trills, drops, slurs, etc.
